The largest airline in the Middle East, EmiratesAirlines operates over 2,500 flights per week from its hub at Terminal 3. Serving over 120 cities in 70 countries across six continents Emirates also operates four of the world's ten longest non-stop commercial flights from Dubai to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Houston.

Emirates Airlines is a subsidiary of The Emirates Group, which has over 50,000 employees, and is wholly owned by the government of Dubai directly under the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

Emirates Dubai hub offers flights to other Middle East destinations as well as the USA, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and New Zealand. Winners of numerous awards for in-flight service for both business and economy class service, the airline was first to place orders for the Airbus A380 super-liner and has one of the youngest fleet of aircraft in the world.

In 2011 Air Transport News awarded the Emirates the 'Airline of the Year' award for its ongoing commitment to safety, operational excellence, customer service trendsetting and financial condition, which includes a 22-year consecutive annual profit.
