British Airways

Formed in 1971 by the merger of BEA (British European Airways) and BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation), British Airways (or BA as it is fondly known) is one of the world's largest airlines.

In 2011 British Airways merged with Iberia to form IAG (International Airlines Group) making the combined airlines the third largest in the world.

Operating a mixed Airbus and Boeing fleet BA is awaiting delivery of the first of its 12 Airbus 380s on order and a further 16 Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

British Airways

British Airways is one of the few airlines that flies to all six inhabitied continents, serving over 600 destinations worldwide. The airline offfers a four class service on longer flights, First Class, Club World Business Class, Word Traveller Premium Economy and Economy class. Club World has sleeper seats on selected services.
